It has been an industrious time for Joe Dunn, who recently joined the Excelsior Energy team as Grad Mechanical Engineer heading up our new Mechanical Engineering and Drafting unit.
Product design work is coming through thick and fast and in his 1st week Joe has already been working on lift pump designs, troubleshooting packer subs and assisting with ergonomic tool storage designs for our Mongolia workshop.
With 3D printing becoming more accessible, prototypes and scale models can now be created overnight for a fraction of the cost of conventional machining methods.
The ability for designers and end-users to access a tactile tool, allowing them to reassess the effectiveness of the design and ensure it fulfils the requirements, is rapidly becoming a vital part of R&D.
If you and your team have Mechanical Engineering, Drafting Design or 3D (prototype) printing requirements, be sure to contact us on info@excelsior-energy.com.
